lazy days

Paige and I took a very lazy day yesterday. We ate some breakfast, talked to Allen, burned some cds, cleaned the kitchen, and watched a lot of tv. As of yesterday her tvo was at 60%. Now here is a quote from something we watched yesterday: -"We almost have enough money to buy a car." -"And in five years we can drive it!"
Around 5:30 Paige took me home so she could go to her class. We stopped and got an Italian cream soda at Barnes and Noble. Yum!! After Paige dropped me off and left for school I made me a peanut butter and banana sandwich. Hehe! The show we wathced had a girl making that sandwich and it made me want one. It was great. Angela came over then and we tried to watch a John Wayne show called Hatari. Angela really likes it so I tried to stay awake but I could not. One of the girls in the show had a cute orange and gray dress on though. That was my day.

Red, white, and pink!

I love this time of year! When the isles in the stores become red, white, and pink. It is a glorious thing. Flowers, gifts, and candies will be exchanged between loved ones across the country every February. No one knows the real truth behind this romantic holiday and how it came to be. One legend states that a certain priest named valentine would perform secret marriages between young lovers against the emperor who outlawed marriage for young men due to the war. When Valentine's actions were discovered, the emperor sentenced him to death. Another legend suggests that Valentine sent the first 'valentine' greeting himself. While in prison, it is said that Valentine fell in love with a young girl, believed to be his jailers daughter. Before he was put to death, he wrote her a letter, which is signed 'From your Valentine', an expression still popular today.
whatever you believe, Valentine's is a great holiday that adults and children can celebrate. Only twenty days left and I better see some smiles on some faces. Happy Valentine's Day!

concert by the mountains

I had the opportunity to attend a lovely concert in Park City yesterday night. The air was clear and fresh with a nice little crisp to it. The night sky was lit up with amazing colors of red, green, gold, purple, and... so on. During the concert every single body decided that they wanted to get closer to the person next to them. We all swayed to the beat of the music. Even the security guards started pulling people out of the crowd to dance with. When the show ended the crowd did not want to separate so we all huddled to our way off the enchanted piece of land. Eventually we had to take our seperate ways and fly back to our real lives.

Give me a break!

I have no original thought so I have to either do movie quotes or something like that. Interesting is not my middle name. After all the name of my blog is "Nothing important happened today". Eat that!
