Happy V-J Day!
Some people refer to it as V-P Day.(Victory in the Pacific) On August 9th, 61 years ago, the allied forces dropped the second atomic bomb(Fat Man) on Nagasaki. In the United States, V-J Day is actually on August 14 because of the different time zones. The emperor of Japan announced the end of WWII on August 15 Japan time. The formal surrender took place on the USS Missouri September 2.
I know that this picture is not going to show up on my blog. That is so dumb. Well, it is the famous picture of the navy man and the nurse kissing in Times Square.
I have decided to put a Simpsons quote on every blog from now on. Here is the first quote. Well actually the third one. I have posted two previous quotes before. Here it is:

Remember that postcard Grandpa sent us from Florida of that Alligator biting that woman's bottom? That's right, we all thought it was hilarious. But, it turns out we were wrong. That alligator was sexually harassing that woman.
